When patients need help paying medical bills they turn to a state's Medicaid program or a city's General Assistance program. If a patient is unable or unwilling to supply requested information, the city or state will deny the application for payment. Or, if the appropriate information is supplied, the city or state can deny payment for a reason that can be disputed.
In partnership with the Law firm of Tobin, Carberry, O'Malley, Riley, Selinger, P.C. (TCORS) Century has developed an innovative program whose primary focus is to increase collection of Medicaid Pending accounts.
Your accounts inappropriately denied by a city or state welfare will be reviewed and contested. We'll investigate the patient's eligibility for benefits, enroll, negotiate and if necessary, litigate in court to establish the providers right to payment for services.
In addition, we can:
- Hold cities and states liable for inappropriate denial of General Assistance applications.
- Furnish proper documentation to assure compliance with state regulations.
- Provide immediate notification to the client of approved claims.
- Give timely follow-up to assure reimbursement.
- Assist patients in determining eligibility.
